Play Doh Girl
Julianna has a new found love for play doh. We recently picked up a few cans and she was instantly a fan. Here are a few pics of her playing with the Doh over a few days time.

Julianna’s Trike
With warmer weather approaching (not soon enough) we put together Julianna's trike and let her take a spin. Though hesitant at first, she warmed up quickly and LOVED it. She rings the bell constantly and squeals with excitement. She figured out right away how to put her feet on the pedals.

Dancing Girl!
With our love of music Julianna has had plenty of opportunity to be exposed to all types of music. From Country to Rock to Classical to Jazz to Bluegrass. And in that journey Julianna has discovered that music has rhythm and a beat and with help from Mommy has learned some dancing moves that she uses when she hears a song that is dance worthy... in her mind. Though I'm not sure how many times she has heard "Billy Jean" from Michael Jackson this morning it put her into motion and I was able to quickly capture on my iphone. Unfortunately you have to turn the volume up pretty high to hear the song in the background but it is there.
The Pumpkin Patch
Halloween is just a few days away so we wanted to take Julianna to a real pumpkin farm to find the perfect pumpkin. She enjoyed running free and feeding the farm animals. We had wonderful weather and a totally tuckered out little girl by the time our fun day ended. Enjoy!
Julianna and the Carousel
Julianna visited her very first carousel this weekend. Though she was not a fan of the wait prior to the ride starting once that horse started moving there was no stopping her squeals of excitement! Not only does this park have a full restored carousel but there is a tribute to Andy and Opie as well as an Express Train for kiddos a bit larger than Julianna.
Finding My Shadow
At the park on Saturday Julianna discovered something totally cool. She discovered she has a shadow. She was walking along one of the trails at the park when she noticed there was a "person" walking in front of her. But when she stopped; it stopped. When she lifted her leg, it lifted the leg. She ran after the shadow and she tried to touch it. Was so amazing to watch. She couldn't understand where it went once we were in the shade, however it came back when the sun back!

Walking in the rain.
Julianna loves bath time and water in general. She had a great time at the beach and in the pool and with the recent monsoon like rains we have been receiving recently in NC our driveway has developed little puddles of water which Julianna loves to use for splashing her feet through. This 2 minute video not only captures Julianna's happy fun rain time but also is a good demonstration of Julianna's new walking abilities.

Julianna’s Giant Steps
This is a short video of Julianna walking to her papa. It was not her her first steps but she has only been doing this for a couple of days and this video does capture one of her longest trek's yet.
Julianna was in a great mood and had already done a couple of 'walks' when I stood her up, went in the other room for the camera, came back, and she was still just standing there patiently. It's hard to sometimes capture moments like these, it was great getting the chance.

Green Chair Walker

Proud to be a San Francisco 49er Fan
The 49ers didn't get the job done on this Super Bowl Sunday but we are still big fans of such an awesome franchise. Julianna helped mommy with all the pre-game preparations while sporting her red and gold!
