Grandpa Steve and Granny Annie
Steve and Annie are here visiting with Julianna for a few days. Julianna warmed up quickly to them after they arrived. She showed off her newest skills --- clapping her hands, crawling and sitting up on her own!
Proud to be a San Francisco 49er Fan
The 49ers didn't get the job done on this Super Bowl Sunday but we are still big fans of such an awesome franchise. Julianna helped mommy with all the pre-game preparations while sporting her red and gold!
Weekend Visitor
Papa got a break with Julianna's Grandmother coming to stay with us. Julianna was in great spirits and both had a lot of fun for the duration of the visit. Before leaving I took a couple of pictures that captured the moment.

Daddy, Daughter and Doggie Time
Mommy steals the camera away from papa for some great shots including a couple of our happy-go-lucky Bostons.
On the Mend…
After a holiday season filled with lots of laughs and loves our family found ourselves sick with awful head colds. All three of us have battled runny noses, coughs and fevers over the last 9 days. Julianna had her first cold and ear infection and we all struggled to get "back on schedule". Today is our best day since getting sick and we were able to catch Julianna in some great shots including some with Frannie Bean...
Eleven Days ‘Till Christmas!
Julianna spends time with two of her favorite things, her Papa and the mirror.

A Little Girl’s Best Friend
Our Boston Terrier have always had a soft spot for baby J and just recently she has decided so loves, loves, loves, loves, loves them too! Eric and I caught some great shots of Baby J with Frannie last weekend.
Happy Thanksgiving!
This year we hosted Thanksgiving at our home in Raleigh. After we were all stuffed to the max with the wonderful food we gathered on the deck for a picture of all of us. Looking at our family I am reminded of not just how thankful I am to have you but for how lucky I am to have you as well! You are all terrific! Thank you for another fabulous Thanksgiving -- I love you all! -- Chandra
Thank You Aunt Hilda
A couple of weekends back our family enjoyed some time at my aunt Hilda's home. Every year she has a cookout and wiener roast. In addition we roast marshmallows over a campfire. This year we took Julianna to experience some of the fun. All of the girls made tie-dyed shirts. I created one for Julianna and one for me. We had a great time and I wanted to send a proper "Thank You" to Hilda! See the pic below -- we sure look good in our new shirts!
Julianna is 5 months old today!
Oh how our baby girl is changing! At five months she can roll over from back to front, sit unassisted (though sometimes she allows herself to fall backwards so we have to keep soft things or support behind her), everything and I do mean everything goes in her mouth, and she has learned the D, L and Y sounds. She chatters all the time and her favorites are La-la-la-la-la, Ya-ya-ya-ya-ya and, papa's favorite, Da-da-da-da-da. All of which end in a high shrill at the end. We suppose that is her adding an exclamation point to the end of her sentence 🙂
