Adventure Time
In this weeks collection of pictures Julianna shows her curiosity and her love of exploration. Though crawling is still the preferred mode of transportation Julianna is getting more comfortable standing and uses her walkers to walk and push around. We have secured our kitchen cabinets and left a few open with non-dangerous items left for exploring. BTW as with last weeks update these are all iPhone pictures.

Weekend Pictures
My iphone 5 can sometimes take some pretty good pictures. This weekend was a great example of that with all of these pictures being taken on my phone between Friday and Sunday, enjoy!

Little Blossom
Spring has arrived and mommy's green thumb is all aglow. We've been working outside getting our plants, shrubs, trees and grass in tip top shape for summer. Today, Julianna couldn't stop trying to climb into one of our new planters. So, we decided to see what she would do if we put her in. We think she's the most beautiful flower of them all!
Bird Watching with Friends
This morning we caught Julianna with her doggie friend Lulu watching our birds. Lulu loves watching them almost as much as Julianna and occasionally they share the experience. Enjoy!
Our Sleepy Clown
As Julianna gets older we are beginning to see her personality shine through. She is a little bit of a flirt and she likes to do funny things that make others laugh. Here she is "resting" on papa's legs at the end of the day...it's definitely time for bed!
Army Crawling
Julianna this week has taken off with her Army Crawl. She has mastered her ability to pull herself along with her hands and though her legs are not helping much it is like watching someone mimic swimming in a pool as she kicks her legs this way and that, very cute! Included are some pictures we took today/this morning.

As part of my Mr. Mom duties I got Julianna up and dressed for the day. Over the past two weeks I have posted pictures from this morning ritual and as Chandra is back my opportunities to take these early morning gems will be limited. So here are the last couple of shots from last week, enjoy!

Mr. Mom
Mom comes home tonight closing out 2 weeks of Mr. Mom. With the assistance of my work which allow me the flexibility of hours, Grandmother Callicutt who came for 2 days over the weekend to help me, and of course Linda who came early and stayed late watching baby bean it has been a successful 10 days. It makes you appreciate what you have. And it was a challenge at times and a learning experience taking all of the roles and responsibilities that Chandra and I normally share but also a lot of fun and a great opportunity to spend some quality time with just Julianna.

Happy Fun Floor Time!
This morning we discovered how much fun hardwood floors can be! Julianna got on her tummy and spun around probably a dozen times in just a few minutes enjoying the freedom of movement that the low friction hardwood floors gave her. Here are a couple pictures to capture the moment as well as some of her challenges learning to crawl. You can see in one picture looking underneath at her legs as to say "Hey, do what you got to do but let's get this train moving!". She knows that her arms and legs can move her, she is just not sure how to coordinate the effort...yet. Then nothing in the house will be safe from Julianna's high energy drive and inquisitive mind.
